This was exactly what we were looking for. We have a nice leather case but wanted one for travel. We felt this would provide more protection especially for the beach.

Lightweight and neat looking, with a simple design that is easy to open and close. If your looking for a basic kindle case that you will use solely to protect your kindle while not in use, this is great.

This is a good basic carrying case for the Kindle. I chose this case over an attached cover because I did not want anything to get in the way of the page-turning buttons that are on both sides of the Kindle. It is a quality product, reasonably priced, and not meant to make any fashion statements. It fits perfectly and provides protection while transporting the Kindle.
